57 | Why Our World Is This Way?
Scripture says: "You will be like God, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5) "What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?" (Matthew 16:26)
This demonstrates: The world’s chaos, scarcity, war, class struggles, and suffering were not created by God; they are the phantom world constructed by humanity after eating the fruit of the "tree of knowledge of good and evil," falling into the trap of Duality + the Self + Meme Culture.
This article aims to explain:
- Why the world is filled with comparison, struggle, and inequality;
- Why what is called "life" is actually a phantom woven by genes and memes;
- Why man cannot be saved through the self, but can only return to true life through the connection of the Holy Spirit.
I. The Root of All Unhappiness: Duality + the Self = The Starting Point of the Phantom World
After eating the fruit of knowledge, man entered a structure that did not exist in the Kingdom of God: the dual mind.
Duality compels man to say: • This one is good, that one is bad; • This one is high, that one is low; • This one is success, that one is failure; • This one is worthy of love, that one is unworthy of love.
Thus, the Ego is constructed and begins to obsessively pursue that version defined as "good" by culture. What is this "good"? Sometimes it is called wealth; sometimes status; sometimes face; sometimes glory; sometimes "success."
These are all memes manufactured by culture, combined with the survival/competitive instincts of the genetic level, weaving together the "life" we mistakenly believe in.
Jesus said: "Gain the whole world, yet forfeit the soul." The "whole world" here refers to the entire phantom structure itself.
II. Inequality Is Not Created by God, But Is a Structure Created by Duality and Memes
We must point out a profound truth here: the world is not inherently unequal; rather, humanity is terrified of equality.
Because: • Equality = the loss of superiority; • Superiority = the sense of the Ego's existence.
The Self must prove itself through "height differentials," thus it inevitably manufactures: classes; hierarchies of high and low; power ranks; identities and titles; wealth stratification.
Without a vast number of "inferiors," the "superiors" cannot feel their own "height." This is not a resource problem, but a psychological requirement within the structure of duality.
III. Scarcity, War, Famine, Class... Are All Actively Manufactured by Humanity
There is an extremely clear chain of relationships here:
- Scarcity: Not a lack of resources, but manufactured by the structure of contrast. Without comparison, there is no scarcity; without superiority, there is no need to struggle. But the Ego needs superiority to maintain its existence, thus it inevitably manufactures scarcity: even with food, it hoards; even with resources, it blockades; even with abundance, it creates rarity; so that some may possess "more," to prove they are "more deserving."
- Famine: Not caused by God, but by accumulation. Grain was originally sufficient for everyone to be full, yet there are always those who would rather let granaries rot than share. Because in their view: sharing allows others to live with dignity; hoarding allows themselves to appear superior.
- War: Not a conflict over resources, but the ultimate explosion of the comparing mind. The true root of war is not "lack," but the desire of the Ego for infinite expansion: "I must prove I am stronger than you"; "I must possess more than you"; "I cannot let you surpass me." This desire has no ceiling, thus war is endless.
- Class: Not a historical necessity, but a necessity of sinfulness. Society was never "forced into classes by resource differences," but was driven into classes by the phantoms of the Ego: without the lower class, the "height" of the high remains invisible.
IV. Humanity Has Almost No True "Free Will," Only the Automatic Operation of Genes + Memes
From a spiritual perspective, humanity is not truly free. What is called "free will" is often merely the automatic execution of subconscious programs, driven primarily by two forces: • Genetic drive: survival, security, reproduction, competition; • Meme drive: cultural definitions of good and bad, success, identity, and value.
The combination of the two forms a closed system: man believes he is "choosing freely," while in reality, he is merely executing a preset program.
This is exactly what Paul said: "I do not do what I want, but I do what I hate." (Romans 7:15). Relying on the self, man does not even possess the ability to see clearly his own state of enslavement.
V. Why Did the World Become This Way? Because Man Left the Source of Divine Life
God created an abundant world, but after man left God, he fell into: Duality → the Ego → the Meme World → Competition → Struggle → War → Suffering. This is the inevitable structure after "severing from the life of God."
Therefore: we have no ability to be saved through the self, because we do not even possess the ability to perceive our own problems.
Jesus becomes the only exit: • He bears the sin, allowing us to be qualified to turn back; • The Holy Spirit is within us, allowing us to reconnect with Christ; • When the Holy Spirit enters our life, only then do we possess true freedom for the first time.
Complete Summary | Original Doctrine 57

- The "life" pursued by humanity is mostly a phantom constructed by genes + memes, rather than true life.
- Inequality, scarcity, war, and class are all actively manufactured by the human Ego.
- Humanity possesses no true free will, operating only automatically within subconscious programs.
- Only through the connection of the Holy Spirit opened by Jesus can humanity return to the true Source of Life.
Summary in one sentence: The world’s suffering is not God’s will, but a phantom world created by humanity within the dividing mind after leaving God.
