82|Do Not Cross Those Without the Connection
When Jesus was in the world, He never "forced" salvation upon anyone. He never chased after those who walked away; He never force-fed Truth to those who rejected it. He even told His disciples: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them." This reveals a fundamental principle of salvation: Salvation is not an act of human will, but a gift from the Father. Man can only participate in obedience; he must not overstep his bounds to replace God.
(1) Salvation Is Not "Whom I Want to Save," but "Whom God Allows to Be Saved"
Any motivation to "save" someone that starts with "I will change you, save you, or mold you" is not from the Holy Spirit, but from the Ego. Jesus' logic was: if a person is willing to align with Truth, Truth will open to them; if they refuse, God lets them go. This is "Sovereign Salvation." It is not because you want to save that someone will be saved, but because the Father has given that person to Christ. Therefore:
- Those with the connection need no force; they will be naturally drawn.
- Those without the connection need no obsession; forcing them will only result in backlash. "Not crossing those without the connection" is not indifference, but obedience. It is acknowledging that salvation belongs to God, not to us.
(2) Saving Ego with Ego: The Most Dangerous Trap in the Spiritual World
Almost all "saviors" in religious history who went astray were not "bad people," but people who "wanted to help others too much." The thought "I want to save you" often possesses more demonic potential than "I want to harm you":
- Judging others' life stages by one's own standards;
- Treating one's own identity as the Truth;
- Driving "saving" actions with fear or anxiety;
- Mistaking "my wisdom" for "God's will." When others do not change according to your way, you begin to judge, push, worry, and compel. This is saving Ego with Ego—saving sin with sin. In God's eyes, the latter (the fear of the misled) is a sin of weakness, while the former (equating oneself to God) is a sin of pride. The sin of pride is far greater than the sin of weakness. Thus, forcing salvation is a major overstepping of God's authority.
(3) Do Not "Save" Through Compulsion, Judgment, or Superiority
What Jesus opposed most was the "spiritual superiority" of the Pharisees:
- Pointing fingers at others from a height;
- Demanding others follow one's own understanding;
- Replacing mercy with moral judgment;
- Equating "listen to me" with "listen to God." Jesus never did this. What He did was invite, inspire, wait, and knock gently on the door. There are three bottom lines for saving people:
- No Superiority: Truth never falls from a height; it only rises from within the heart.
- No Value Judgment: Everyone’s path is different.
- No Pressure or Compulsion: Compulsion is of the demonic, not the divine. If Truth is not something a person wakes up to themselves, it is not Truth—it is merely compliance.
(4) Salvation of Obedience: Only Do What the Father Has Entrusted to You
Jesus never healed everyone, nor did He explain the Kingdom to everyone; He only did what the Father gave Him to do. We should do the same. We only need to serve the people, matters, and objects God has entrusted to us. Those others you wish to force-help do not belong to your "spiritual territory." If we overstep to change those God has not entrusted to us, we carry not merit, but the heavy burden of interfering with God’s plan. Love that oversteps becomes distorted; salvation that oversteps results in backlash. Obedience is acknowledging: I do not decide whom to save or when to save; I am the vessel, not the Source.
Summary|Original Doctrine 82
- Salvation is not human initiative but God’s election.
- Forcing salvation is saving Ego with Ego; it is the greatest spiritual pride.
- Saving must be done without compulsion, judgment, or superiority.
- Only cross those God has entrusted to you; do not cross those He has not given you.
In one sentence: Not crossing those without the connection is humility; not saving those the Father hasn't given is obedience; not intervening in another's karma with self-power is reverence.
