Chapter 10 | The Universal Formula for Success: Whatever You Ask, Believe That You Have Received It, and It Will Be Yours

At last, we arrive at the unveiling of the Grand Universal Formula for Success. This formula is breathtaking in its simplicity, absolute in its correctness, and guaranteed in its results. The authority behind it is nothing less than the Architect of the Universe Himself—a Being so entirely good that He laid down His own life to pay our debts and ensure our redemption.

This secret has been hidden in plain sight for over two thousand years. Today, we must wake up and remember it as if for the first time.

The formula was spoken by the only God willing to rewrite our destiny:

“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Jesus Christ

I remember vividly the first time this sentence struck me. I had spent years immersed in the world of successology, devouring every classic text, practicing meditation, manifesting, and self-suggestion. I had seen results, yes, but I had never found a promise that felt absolute—a guarantee backed by a supreme authority that could be applied to anyone with a 100% success rate.

Most success gurus offer encouragement, but none offer a guarantee. Then, invited by a friend, I attended a small home gathering in Hong Kong. At the time, I was skeptical of Christianity; I associated it with street preachers and clichés about "repentance." I sat in a side room with my laptop, waiting for them to finish.

Then, I heard them read it: "Whatever you ask... believe that you have received it." It was like a lightning bolt to the brain. I realized I was looking at the Ultimate Formula I had searched for my entire life. I was the only non-Christian in the room, yet I was the only one trembling with excitement. To the others, it was a familiar religious verse; to me, it was a priceless diamond they were treating like a common pebble. That moment of "Aha!" became the cornerstone of my faith and my methodology.

10.1 Dissecting the Formula: The Grammar of the Infinite

Let us look at the original Greek of Mark 11:24: πάντα ὅσα προσεύχεσθε καὶ αἰτεῖσθε, πιστεύετε ὅτι ἐλάβετε, καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν.

The literal translation is vital: “Whatever things you pray and ask for, believe that you received them (ἐλάβετε), and they will happen for you.”

Jesus’s words are often like this: deceptively simple on the surface, yet infinitely deep. As He said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." Let us analyze the components:

  1. "I tell you": The subject is Jesus Himself. This is not a second-hand report; it is a direct executive order from the Supreme Authority.
  2. "You": Jesus was speaking to His disciples—those who believe in Him. For the non-believer, the formula remains inert. It requires the "System Connection" of faith.
  3. "Pray and Ask": There must be an active request. It implies a specific, clear desire. If you do not know what you want, even God cannot "give" it to you in a way you can recognize.
  4. "Whatever": This is the most shocking part. There is no direct object restricted. Whether it is a material possession, an achievement, or a state of being—the formula says whatever.
    • A Note on Morality: God does not judge the "correctness" of the request before granting it in this life (that is for the Final Judgment). If you ask for something that leads to harm, you will receive it, but you must bear the consequences. This explains why "bad people" can succeed. However, a true believer whose identity has been updated by Christ will find their desires naturally aligning with what is good.
  5. "Believe that you received (ἐλάβετε)": This is the heart of the mystery. In the Greek, the verb is in the Aorist tense, denoting a completed action.
    • It does not say: "Believe you will receive it."
    • It says: "Believe you already have it."

This is not a psychological trick; it is a Transposition of Existence. You must shift your internal state from "I lack and I hope" to "It is already done." From the moment you ask in the name of Jesus, the transaction is complete in the spiritual realm.

10.2 The Difficulty of "Already"

Why is this so hard? Because humans are a species of "unbelief." Our egos insist on relying only on past experience and visible evidence. To believe you have something you cannot yet touch is an affront to our "Common Sense."

This is where the difference between the "Predestined" and the "Ordinary" reappears. The natural winner finds it easy to feel "entitled" to success; the ordinary man feels like a fraud when he tries to believe.

This is why we need the Identity Swap of Jesus Christ. We cannot manufacture this belief on our own. We must become part of the "You" Jesus was talking to. Only through Him can we bypass our old subconscious filters and accept the "Order" as a finished reality.

Jesus knew this was the hardest step. That is why He provided a specific method for how to believe.
