Chapter 26 | Conclusion: The Diamond Mine Is Right Beside Us

Finally, we have reached the concluding chapter of this book.

The original inspiration for "Divine Success Study" came from a wealth class I taught in the United States. The audience consisted of dozens of engineers, project managers, and entrepreneurs from top Silicon Valley tech companies. I was teaching how to achieve financial freedom. At the end of that class, the summary I gave was this:

The techniques, methods, and strategies I taught earlier are not the decisive factors.

True success must come from the renewal of an individual's internal state and life structure.

Creating wealth, in essence, is a journey of self-correction; it is a form of spiritual cultivation. Ultimately, you will inevitably return to faith. I have studied countless wealth-creation courses myself, only to suddenly discover: The Bible is the true study of success. The students said to me on the spot:

"You should write a book to clearly explain the success study within the Bible." And thus, the idea for this book was born.

A Burning Call: Why Has No One Truly Explained Jesus’s Success Study?

When I truly started writing this book, I was constantly enveloped by a burning sensation—

As if being pushed and propped up by a force that had to be spoken out.

I often thought:

Why has the greatest secret of success in human history—the clear promise made by Jesus Christ over two thousand years ago, "Whatever you ask, you shall receive"—been ignored?

Why has this extremely clear promise instead been ritualized and religionized throughout history, buried within complex theological systems, with no one focusing on accurately and systematically explaining it?

Why do so many people—living in scarcity, anxiety, failure, and powerlessness—

Have to struggle so bitterly on their own?

The Diamond Mine: A True Story Told by Napoleon Hill

I am reminded of the famous story mentioned by Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich.

Long ago, there was a farmer in Africa who lived a stable and prosperous life.

One day, he heard that diamond mines had been discovered somewhere in the world, and many people had become extremely wealthy because of them.

As a result, desire arose in his heart. He sold his farm and embarked on a journey to find diamonds.

He traveled across Africa, drifted overseas to the Middle East and Europe, exhausted all his savings, yet found nothing.

Ultimately, he drowned himself in despair at a seaport in Spain.

Meanwhile... The person who took over his old farm found a peculiar black stone by the small stream in the backyard one day, thinking it was just a beautiful ornament.

Until a geologist visited and said in shock upon seeing the stone:

"This is no ordinary stone; this is one of the largest rough diamonds in the world!" The two rushed to the stream, only to discover:

The entire stream was filled with such stones.

Later, that farm became one of the most famous and productive diamond mines in the world—

The "Kimberley Diamond Mine" in South Africa.

Are We Not Just Like That Farmer?

To find the secret of success, we:

  • Attend classes everywhere
  • Seek masters everywhere
  • Read books everywhere
  • Beg for methods everywhere

But aside from obtaining some emotional comfort, we gain almost nothing.

The vast majority of people, throughout their lives, are unable to truly enter into success.

However— The greatest diamond mine has always been right beside us.

Even more precious than diamonds is this: the diamond mine belonged only to that farmer, but Jesus's promise is written in the Bible and prepared for everyone.

The Promise Given by Jesus is More Astonishing Than a Diamond Mine

Jesus, with His indisputable divinity, made a promise to everyone:

"Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Furthermore, He explained how we can "believe we have received it"—

How to remain in Him and let His words remain in us.

In other words:

An existence more powerful than the total sum of all wealth in the world

Publicly tells you: "You can access my resources at any time. Whatever you ask of me, I can give to you." Everyone has heard the story of Aladdin’s lamp, and everyone envies the boy who obtained it!

There is a joke about a man in the desert who finds a lamp. He remembers the story of Aladdin and thinks, "Could this be it?" Sure enough, he rubs the lamp, and a genie appears. The genie says, "I can fulfill three wishes." The man’s third wish is: "Give me three more wishes!" Everyone thinks this joke shows the man's insatiable greed. But in reality, the promise Jesus Christ made to us far exceeds even our own greediest desires.

If there truly were an "Aladdin’s Lamp" in this world,

The promise in the Bible is hundreds of millions of times more powerful than that lamp.

But the problem is: We don't use it. We don't believe it.

We praise Jesus, pray to Jesus, and rely on Him to solve our anxieties, but we do not believe His most direct, core, and powerful sentence.

This is more tragic than owning a diamond mine without knowing it; it is more absurd than possessing a magic lamp but never using it.

It is like:

Someone has already told you there is a diamond mine at home; the genie told you that you can have three wishes;

And yet, you: You don't believe it. You sell the farm! You casually throw away the lamp! And then you spend countless hours, money, and effort traveling to distant lands, struggling through a lifetime only to never obtain what you seek.

Why Do We Still Not Believe?

Because human blind spots are too deep. Because we are too accustomed to using our own effort, logic, and experience to understand the world. Because we do not know—success was never meant to rely on human strength. Therefore, it is necessary for someone to retell this matter,

To deconstruct Jesus’s promise using methods and steps that modern people can understand and execute.

This is the mission of Divine Success Study.

We have not invented any principles. Truth is never new.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

We are simply restating the ancient truth in modern language.
