The Successful Practice It Without Knowing It
The reason many people find it difficult to believe Jesus’s promise in the Bible—"Whatever you ask, you shall receive"—is not because the statement is untrue, but because they have never heard it explained seriously. Modern people’s understanding of Jesus mostly comes from the ritualized presentations of the church rather than an in-depth elaboration on the essence of His teachings. Consequently, in the eyes of many non-Christians, Jesus is at most a moral role model or a symbol of heaven, irrelevant to success in the real world.
However, the opposite is true.
True winners—those who change industries and create world-class enterprises—are almost all unconsciously applying the same set of principles Jesus clearly stated: Asking, Believing, Giving, Acting, Submitting, Accepting, Handing Over, and Gratitude. They might not acknowledge a faith, yet they naturally live within these laws.
In other words: There is only one method for success; all others are just different forms of expression. Destined winners use them naturally, while ordinary people find them difficult to replicate because their "inner soil" has not yet been renewed.
The following statements from world-class entrepreneurs are the clearest illustrations—each sentence corresponds to a core principle of Divine Success Study, though they themselves may not realize the source.
1. Elon Musk: Failure is Part of the Process "Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough." ——Elon Musk He emphasizes: All results deserve to be accepted. Corresponding Principle: (6) Treating all results as part of "all things working together for good."
2. Bill Gates: Success Can Be Misleading "Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can't lose." ——Bill Gates He reminds us: Humility and alertness after success are more important than success itself. Corresponding Principle: (9) Gratitude and humility after success.
3. Jack Ma: Believe First, Then See "I said we would build a 102-year company and enter the top five of the global internet; no one believed it, but I believed it. I made all decisions by reverse-deducing from this goal." ——Jack Ma What he talks about is not strategy, but believing you have already received. Corresponding Principle: (2) State Alignment: Believing that you have already received.
4. Sam Altman: Persistent Action Allows Luck to Find You "Success comes to those who keep going long enough for luck to find them." ——Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI) This simultaneously contains two principles: (4) Taking full action; (8) Solutions appear in seemingly accidental places.
5. Jeff Bezos: True Breakthroughs Come from the Unpredictable "Our success comes from the things we cannot predict." ——Jeff Bezos This is the most straightforward modern expression of "Submission." Corresponding Principle: (8) Solutions come from unexpected places.
6. Ray Dalio: Reality Will Re-educate You When You Think You Know Everything "Every time I thought I had the rules figured out, reality surprised me." ——Ray Dalio What he is saying is: The Ego will be dismantled at critical moments, giving way to submission. Corresponding Principle: (7) Entering complete submission when the Ego reaches its end.
I could continue this list indefinitely. If you have the energy, you can keep researching the biographies and speeches of more entrepreneurs; you will find more similar statements.
As you can see, these most successful entrepreneurs in the world are actually describing roughly the same principles. They come from different companies, cultures, industries, and belief systems, yet the "secrets of success" they have grasped are so highly consistent: they obtain true answers from the unknown, from breakthroughs, and from surprises. They rely on faith and on viewing failure as an inevitable process toward success. This is the language of submission, the language of Grace, and the language of Divine Success Study.
It can only be said that, in fact, there is only one principle and secret of success, and they are all unconsciously applying these principles and secrets. But they did not learn them from books; rather, their destined internal structures make them use these principles naturally— Just as eagles are born to fly and fish are born to swim.
Why can't ordinary people learn this? We imitate their methods, but we cannot imitate their "internal state." We can see their actions, but we cannot see their subconscious. We can understand their thinking, but we cannot replicate their destiny. They succeed not because they know the principles, but because the principles are running within them first.
A mathematical genius cannot teach ordinary people higher mathematics; similarly, a destined success cannot explain the power they truly rely on. Thus, these laws become "tacit knowledge," becoming "secrets not to be told."
What Divine Success Study aims to do is to make this "Secret" public. This is the mission of this book: For the first time, using God’s power, allowing ordinary people to use principles that belong to the destined. Not because we are clever, not because we invented anything, But because we are restating the laws Jesus already explained using modern language. These principles originally belonged to everyone; we just forgot them.
