8. Believing You Have Received the "Things" You Desire

Of course, what we ask for isn't always as grand as "becoming a certain type of leader."

Because, let’s be honest:

  • Becoming a specific type of person is a long-term project.
  • It takes an immense amount of time to validate.
  • It’s incredibly complex.

Sometimes, you think you want to be a certain person, but eventually, you realize your internal wiring isn't actually suited for that position. For instance, later in life, I realized I had the opportunity to enter politics—but I discovered I absolutely loathe politics.

So, in this chapter, the real point I want to drive home is: Emotional Alignment.

The subconscious only believes what is real—or what appears to be real. Therefore, your emotional alignment is what makes the reality "look real" to your subconscious. Validating "who you have become" takes years; but emotions can be validated instantly.

The goal of Divine Success isn't to make you wait twenty years for a result. Its purpose is to help every person: Get what they asked for as quickly as possible.

As Jesus said: "Whatever you ask for... believe that you have received it." And in real life, most people’s requests are very concrete:

  • A specific amount of capital.
  • An income goal.
  • An ideal university.
  • A result that can be measured right now.

On this level, emotion is actually more important than identity.

9. Emotion: The Direct Validation of "Already Received"

You shouldn't just mirror the actions or the decision-making style of the person you intend to be. You must align emotionally.

Let’s take the simplest, most direct example: Suppose you have asked Jesus for a million-dollar income next year. And you believe:

  • Jesus has heard you.
  • He promised that "whatever you ask, you shall receive."
  • The contract is already signed.

Now, you have to ask yourself: "If I were already a person making a million dollars a year, how would I feel right now?"

The answer is crystal clear:

  • Abundant.
  • Without Scarcity.
  • Secure.
  • Calm.
  • At Ease.

This mindset is the easiest thing to project and the easiest thing to reverse-engineer. Think about a typical scenario: When a person is struggling, their biggest fear is often that their classmates are making more than them, or their friends are making $200k a year. In that state, they feel:

  • Inferiority.
  • Envy.
  • Sometimes even pure hatred.

That is the classic Scarcity Mindset.

But if you truly believe in your heart, "I already have a million dollars," then your reaction to those wealthier people changes completely. You will bless them. You will genuinely want them to do better. You won't feel the need to brag about your own money. You won't feel anxious about their achievements. Why? Because you no longer have anything to prove. Your interior is already full.

10. Continuous Prayer and Emotional Calibration

Of course, the Ego is incredibly stubborn. Like I said in the previous chapter: Prayer is a continuous process. The old patterns of scarcity and the old structures of anxiety will try to drag you back to the past.

This is why, in daily life, we need to return to prayer every single day. Before we go to bed, we should do a "Review" of our day’s actions:

  • How many of my actions today were truly from the state of "Already Received"?
  • Which of my decisions were actually driven by the old logic of scarcity?
  • If I were the person who already had it, how would I have chosen differently today?

All of these judgments lead back to one place: Emotion.

The moment I feel anxiety, scarcity, comparison, or those old social pressures, it tells me one thing: At this exact moment, I am not living in the state of "Already Received."

11. The Final Sign: The Fruit of Emotion

There is only one clear, reliable sign that you "believe you have received." From that day forward, your mood will gradually shift toward Abundance, Gratitude, Joy, and Peace.

Why? Because you already have what you asked for.

This is:

  • The core of "believing you have received."
  • The most critical step in Divine Success.
  • The easiest step to verify.

You verify it through the Fruit of your Emotions. This is the functional key that makes the entire Divine Success system work in the real world.
