Only the Higher Power Can Rewrite Destiny

Success, by definition, is outward-facing—achieving a goal, winning someone’s affection, or manifesting a result. But any success requires the perfect alignment of countless variables: timing, environment, and people. If a single link fails, the project fails. Thus, Failure is a statistical necessity, while Success is a statistical miracle.

Humans, with our limited experience and capability, cannot manufacture this miracle. We can plan, we can prepare, but as the saying goes: "Man proposes, God disposes." Success relies entirely on the External Supreme Power.

If our destiny is rooted in an unchangeable subconscious, then even the "Naturally Predestined" winners rely on this power—they are simply more open to receiving this Grace. For the rest of us, who were not born with a "winning seed," the only path is to rely on a power higher than ourselves. Humans cannot change destiny, but Heaven can. God can. But only if we first admit our own powerlessness.

The Psychological Consensus: Surrender as a Catalyst for Change

This conclusion is not just theological; it is backed by decades of psychological data. Consider two powerful examples:

1. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Founded in 1935 and operating in 180+ countries, AA has a success rate significantly higher than any "willpower-based" sobriety program. Its core is not a technique, but a Step One: Admitting powerlessness and turning one's life over to a "Higher Power."

Harvard and Stanford studies on addiction show that long-term recovery involves a process of:

Ego Collapse $\to$ Transcendent Reframing $\to$ Identity Replacement.

It’s not about "becoming stronger"; it’s about "no longer being that version of the self." In psychology, chronic alcoholism is seen as a deep subconscious destiny—the hardest behavioral pattern to break. AA proves that surrendering to a Supreme Authority can rewrite this "Destiny Script."

2. Attachment-to-God Theory

Formal psychological research shows that true "converts" (not those who merely attend church, but those who genuinely surrender to God) undergo irreversible changes in impulse control, aggression, and long-term stability.

This is explained by Attachment-to-God Theory: When a person transfers their "ultimate sense of security and value judgment" to an absolutely reliable, transcendent Object (God), their subconscious undergoes a total reorganization. When "God" becomes the new attachment source, the original destiny script is rendered void.

True "Success for Everyone"

I am not a fatalist. I do not believe we should just "lie flat." On the contrary, I believe everyone can succeed.

In fact, I am more radical than any traditional success coach. I believe success has a set of "Engineering Steps" that ensure a consistent output if the input is correct. My skepticism is not toward success itself, but toward the ability of human knowledge to liberate us from our biological and social destiny.

I believe everyone can fly, but I do not believe we can fly by flapping our own arms. I oppose the illusion of self-propelled flight so that we can return to the only force capable of lifting us: the Supreme Power.

This successology is not a "motivational theory" that works for some and fails for others. It is a method as rigorous as science:

  • It is not based on "me."
  • It is based on the Supreme Power—the ultimate force embedded in every culture and every human soul.

This is the source of my faith. It is His work, not mine. I am merely the channel. Everyone can succeed—not by themselves, but through Him!
